My Story...

Hello, welcome to PR Space. It's a space created by me, Nicole Dendle, to support your public relations and communications needs.

I've worked in PR, marketing and communications since 1997; a young fresh-faced Bachelor of Business - Public Relations graduate from Queensland University of Technology who took a job working in Mary Street in Brisbane as Media Assistant to the State Mines and Energy Minister, and then moved onto Federal Politics as Media Advisor to Federal Member for Groom Ian MacFarlane MP, travelling between foggy Toowoomba to cold, capital Canberra.

A 12-month stint travelling the world with mates in 2000 pulled me from politics; and then it was a return to Brisbane to take on marketing for P-12 all-girls school Moreton Bay College at Wynnum-Manly in 2001; before moving to the high life in Queen Street Brisbane, as Public Relations Manager for the development industry lobby group, Urban Development Institute of Australia (Qld) in 2002.

A broad communications and marketing base and a reputation as a good PR operator at UDIA (Qld) saw me move to renowned Brisbane communications consulting firm, Rowland Group in 2004 as Senior Consultant; but then the relaxed lifestyle of Central Queensland beckoned, and in 2005, my husband and I packed up our worldly possessions and made the 700-kilometre trek to seaside Yeppoon.

A couple of years as Public Relations Manager for CQUniversity's Rail CRC in Rockhampton came next, before a hiatus from full-time PR to start the family. The juggle of family and work ensued, managing a small family business, and then a return to communications and three years supporting the communications needs of natural resource management group, Fitzroy Basin Association. However, a light bulb moment struck one day and PR Space was conceived.

PR Space is a space created to support the strategic communications and marketing needs of organisations in Central Queensland who may be too busy, doing, to commit time to communicating and engaging with their stakeholders.

Major contracts for St Brendan's College, Yeppoon, and Fitzroy Basin Association have been the focus of my work over the past few years, in addition to supporting valued clients in construction and agriculture.
